9 Wine Etiquette Habits to Know
Hold your glassย by the stem or the base.
ย  Smell your wine.ย Sniff it, taste it, and think about it.
ย  Try to drink from the same position on your wine glass to reduce unsightly mouth marks
ย  When opening a wine bottle, try toย do it quietly, like a ninja
ย  When clinking: clink glasses bell to bell (it reduces breakage) andย look your clinking-buddy in the eye.
ย  Pouring wine?ย hold the bottle towards the base.
ย  Fill your glassย less than half wayย to give your wine room to breathe.
ย  Try to keep your portion of drinking equivalent to the other people around you.
ย  Offer wine to others before pouring for yourself
